The vision of GRGCAS is “to be a leader in providing best-in-class learning and development programmes in management for working professionals”.
We offer focused and specialised programmes in management, aimed at working professionals. We also offer management programmes in specifically identified domains/disciplines in partnership with industry.
The core purpose of GRGCAS is, ‘preservation and promotion of professional management’; it implies preserving the core principles and concepts of management theory that evolved over the past one hundred years and, creating and evolving new ideas and concepts for the future; all these relating to the practice of management discipline; very similar to profession of chartered accountant, medical doctor, or legal counsel.
The Centre provides focused and specialised programmes in management, primarily for the benefit of working professionals. The programmes designed and delivered by GRGCAS are of short, medium, and long term duration on multiple formats and platforms – weekend/weekday; on campus and off campus, full-time and part-time, company specific, sector specific, domain specific. GRGCAS also offers management development programmes in specifically identified disciplines in partnership with other premier institutions and industry.
GRGCAS draws appropriate resources from both internal and external, including from industry to ensure that the programmes offer the most current, contemporary and updated knowledge and skills based on best practices in management.
At GRGCAS, we offer programmes that are designed specifically to meet the emerging demands of working professionals; hence, our programmes fall broadly into three categories - short term, medium term, and long term.
Short Term Programmes are of 1-14 days' duration.
Short Term Programmes are typically conducted on Friday/Saturday to help working professionals derive maximum advantage of their time. This schedule also helps organisations to plan nomination of their executives.
Medium Term Programmes are upto about 6 months' duration.

According to David Kolb, effective learning is seen when a person progresses through a cycle of four stages: (1) having a concrete experience (2) observation of and reflection on that experience (3) the formation of abstract concepts (analysis) and generalizations (conclusions) (4) test hypothesis in future situations, resulting in new experiences. Experiential Learning is an integral core of all the programmes conducted by GRGCAS. Participants learn by doing, by active experimentation, and sharing real-life experiences.

All the programmes offered by GRGCAS are anchored by facilitators who are qualified, experienced and competent in their area of expertise. We draw exceptionally experienced resources from Coimbatore, Chennai, Bengaluru and other centres to ensure learning of best practices and most updated knowledge.
The facilitators bring to the table vast years of industry and academic experience. They add value by relating the conceptual framework to practical application. They supplement what is in the book with what is in practice.
Peer learning refers to students learning with and from each other without any implied authority to any individual, based on the tenet that “students learn a great deal by explaining their ideas to others and by participating in activities in which they can learn from their peers”. In peer learning, students will construct their own meaning and understanding of what they need to learn. Students will be involved in searching for, collecting, analysing, evaluating, integrating and applying information to complete an assignment or solve a problem. Thus, students will engage themselves intellectually, emotionally and socially in “constructive conversation” and learn by talking and questioning each other’s views and reaching consensus or dissent (Boud, 2001).
Our programmes will serve the interests and needs of junior, middle, and senior level working professionals between 25 and 45 years of age who seek to get ahead in their chosen professional career with a formal exposure to the best-in-class management theory and practice.

We offer short, medium, and long term programmes that are company-specific at clients’ premises as well as industry/domain/topic specific programmes at GRGCAS campus in multiple formats.
